Located in Layton, New Jersey (41.136803, -74.889053). I would say it is off the beaten path but that would be an understatement. Take the Mountain Road entrance at the cemetary. By the way, you can take the path to the top of the falls and beyond to pick up the Appalachian Trail. Also, the falls is near the Walpack Inn which is only open for Friday and Saturday weekend dinners and Sunday lunch. The excellent food and atmosphere is well worth it.
